Welcome to bella boo cards!

This blog is all about the perilous process of setting up my new Etsy shop and my own UK website to share my cards and paper goods with a larger audience!

For a 43 year old who was not brought up using a computer, it's not an easy job!

Please feel free to comment and share your thoughts and any advice too - all warmly welcomed and gratefully received!

It's been a while since I made an entry!
The end of term is a killer and I have been so busy sorting things out ..... from finishing schemes of work to working out how to feed the lab's goldfish over the hols!

Anyway...starting to get back into crafting mode!

Hopefully be back in the next few days with some good news and maybe some pics!

Check out Esha's work in the slideshow below.
From stumbling on Etsy while searching for supplies to being on the verge of opening my own shop has been a short and steep learning curve.

I have been an Etsy buyer since the middle of April, and have found gorgeous supplies, marvellous, generous artists and oodles of help from people.

The first really fabulous artist I found was Esha who is INNERVATED Designs who designed my shop banner, avatars and shop stationary.

I saw 100s of different designs (and sadly bought a couple too that just were not right!) but the one that Esha did for me is EXACTLY what I wanted - it captures the fun I get from crafting and all the colours of nature that I love to use.

Whenever I click onto my shop, I smile as it just so perfect!

Esha was so helpful and kind ...... so professional and easy to work with - she was actually preparing for her finals and still made the time to design my stuff. Many thanks!

Check out this super Etsian's shop at http://erakhit.etsy.com

Sure she would be happy to design something for you ...... and it'll be a pleasure, I promise you!

Hello and welcome to my new blog!

I am a part time crafter who has been making cards and paper goods for friends and family for about 4 years.

I am a Science teacher by day, so being creative really helps me unwind and there is so much pleasure in making something for someone that they really appreciate because it is handmade.

I am now taking the enormous step of sharing my work with the world!

I am currently setting up an Etsy shop and a UK based website to showcase and sell my cards and notebooks.

I am not sure if they will be successful or not but I am going to try ........ why not?!

I have met some wonderful artists and suppliers already who I will introduce you to as I continue blogging ..... the craft world is full of talented, friendly, kind hearted people that are happy to help and advise beginners like me!

Thanks to them all!
Hope you enjoy following my blog - as already said do feel free to comment and offer advice or critisisms ..... all will help me on my way!
